HALIFAX - Olive "Betz" May Shoop,76, of 768 S. River Road, passed away at home. 
She was born June 15, 1922 in Dauphin, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary 
Jane Shoop Facer. She was a former employee of Coca Cola Bottling and Carlisle 
Shoe Co. She was a graduate of Dauphin and William Penn High School. She was a 
member of the Valley's United Church of Christ in Halifax and was an avid hunter 
and lover of country music. 

She was the widow of Albert Shoop. Surviving are a sister, Margaret E. Shoop of 
Halifax and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held on Saturday December 6, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley's 
UCC in Halifax. No viewing or visitation. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial 
Gardens, Halifax.
