friend and loving wife of 41 years, Leaphy Acker Shoop.
Kenneth is survived by a sister, Sara Shoop; two brothers, James and
Lee Shoop; four sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Ethel, Virginia and Grace
Shoop; and two brothers-in-law, Charles and Peter Acker; and a host

and grandfather. He graduated from Halifax High School in 1934; had
been self-employed for many years; and was well-known as the "Action
Battery Man". Later, he was an employee of TRW and a local real estate
sales associate until his retirement. He was a member of the former
Union Church in Powells Valley and a member of Halifax United Methodist

be missed, as he was a bright star in their lives, and will now shine
forever in their sky.
