Ernest W. Shoop

HALIFAX- Ernest Wayne (Ernie) Shoop, 57, of 1027 Matamoras Road, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2006 at 
Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.

Mr. Shoop was born in Halifax, on April 25, 1949, the son of the late Charles E. and Ethel L. (Paul) 
Shoop, who survives him of Halifax.

He had worked as a self employed dairy farmer, and was a member of Jacob's United Methodist Church, 
Halifax. 

He was the husband of Kati (Satorius) Shoop. They had 22 years of marriage together.

He is survived by including his mother and wife, a son, Coye E., husband of Linda Shoop of Halifax; 4 
daughters, Chantel A., wife of Paul Hassinger of Halifax, Cristy S., wife of Robert Lucia, Jr., of New 
Cumberland, Lindsey E. Shoop of Halifax, and Jaimie A. Shoop of Halifax; 2 brothers, Edwin Shoop and 
Rick Shoop, both of Halifax; 2 grandchildren, Sierra Hassinger and Gavin Shoop. He was preceded in death 
by a brother, Allen Shoop.

Religious Service will be at Jacob's United Methodist Church, Halifax, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 
8th, with Pastor Deb Koretzky officiating. Interment at Jacob's United Methodist Cemetery, Halifax. 
Viewing will be Friday from 7-9 p.m., at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg and Saturday from 10-11 
a.m., at Jacob's United Methodist Church.

Memorial donations may be made to Jacob's United Methodist Church Building Fund, 36 Jacob's Church Road, 
Halifax, PA 17032.
