Paul A. Keefer, 77, of West Elm Street, Palmyra, died Thursday, August 14, 2003 
at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. 

Born March 31, 1926 in Campbelltown, he was the son of the late Arthur and 
Grace Sonnon Keefer. 

He was a retired automobile mechanic from Risser's Auto Sales, Palmyra and was 
a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Middletown, where he also taught 
Sunday School. He was a former member and elder of the Fountain of Life Church, 
Middletown and Grace Chapel, Elizabethtown, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War 
II, and was the first Eagle Scout in Campbelltown. 

Surviving are his wife, Janet L. Heinisch Keefer; sons, Ronald Keefer of 
Annville, Richard Keefer of Palmyra, Michael Keefer of Lebanon, Bruce Keefer of 
Hanover, Keith MacGregor and Gary MacGregor, both of Rockford, Illinois; 
daughters, Rosemary Umbrell of Annville and Pauline Baldori of Elizabethtown;
19 grandchildrenand 11 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at Spring 
Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey. Burial will be in 
Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey. Viewing from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Buse Funeral 
Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church.
